    Rodent Control

    Rodents (mices) is one of the greatest public health risks to humans transmit diseases such as leptospirosis, typhoid through  urines, as well as fleas, ticks and lice.Rodents cause great damage to buildings, eating the cables, upgrading with the risk of fire. Also cause damage to stored food. They do not consume large quantities of food but because of their curiosity they try everything destroying the quality of any product.

    The most common species found in Greece and we are concerned tfor their contro are:

    • Mus Musculus, Common house mouse
    • Rattus Rattus 
    • Rattus Norvegicus

    Typical is the fertility of rodents. Females are getting pregnant many times over a year and generate several smalls. They have poor eyesight but excellent sense of smell.

    Their whiskers help them to have a very good picture of the environment and is extremely sensitive to every sound and movement. Their hearing is also highly developed and have and can detect intruders (such as humans) very easily.

    They eat almost everything and need little water. They survive in small spaces and in varying conditions. Always are hidden, exploring their environment and tolerant people. The majority of rodents are herbivores, feeding on seeds, nuts, roots, tubers, stems, leaves, flowers and fruit. Some are omnivores, eating meat such as insects opportunistically and a small number are carnivores.

    The following symptoms are signs of rodent presence:

    • Excreta
    • Crunches
    • Holes
    • Signs OF urine
    • Stench

    Thei Rodent Control is achieved by placing new-generation rodenticides, which are secured  within a specific bait stations. The application of integrated pest control program designed to combat the presence and  to continuously protect the facilities. We apply specific trapping and prevention plan when installing the rodent control system.
